My Personal Experience

Nia has been a source of magic in my life for more than 25 years. I have always loved to dance. When I was a child I was in gymnastics and loved the floor and beam routine. This was the beginning of a life-long relationship to movement, music and the healing magic of dance.

Nia brings the joy of dance, the precision and mental demands of martial arts and the self awareness of healing arts, to create a very powerful experience. Nia has helped to heal my heart and inspire my spirit during many difficult times of my life.

When I am teaching or receiving a Nia class I feel more like my true self; joyful, peaceful, connected and fully alive.
Dancing in community with others, connected by the joy of movement inspires me in many ways.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share this wonderful technique with so many people, creating and sharing amazing experiences over the years.
